Raudhah, the Garden of Heaven and the Place of Prayer

There are two main destinations for pilgrims from all over the world to visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This area has five white pillars with beautiful calligraphy decorations on the roof. It’s really beautiful and makes pilgrims feel at home for long in this Garden of Heaven.

Raudhah is guarded by Askar or guards at the Prophet’s Mosque. You will have to queue to enter this curtain-limited area. When the curtains are opened, it’s best not to scramble in and run around. Because this disturbed the congregation in Raudhah and Askar did not like it.

 

Hadith About Raudhah

Is this Lauda special? Yes, Raudha is mentioned in the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW:

“The place between my house and the pulpit is the Raudha (Garden) in the Garden of Heaven.”

(HS. Bukhari)

Is it safe to experience paradise paradise before the hereafter? must be passed, after that we arrive at heaven or hell (Nauzvira if we go to hell).

Another specialty is doubling the reward for people who worship in Raudhah. Compulsory prayers, sunnah prayers, prayers, dhikr, recitations etc.

Receive a reward 1000 times more than other mosques during prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque (100,000 times excluding the Grand Mosque). Well, in this Raudhah, you also get a multiplied reward whose value is infinite. Only Allah knows the reward for those who worship in this special place.

 

Pray in Raudhah, God willing, your wishes will come true

Praying at Raudhah may be a little easier for men because the door of Raudhah is always open to male worshipers.

Female pilgrims, however, have to go the extra mile to reach Raudhah. The door of Raudhah is opened for women only at certain times, namely the Duha prayer, the Zuhur prayer, and the Maghrib prayer. Then you should pay attention to these times when you are queuing to enter the place.

You have to be absolutely sure that your prayers will be answered by God. If it is not based on a strong belief that prayer will be answered, then even praying in an efficacious place, Allah will not grant it, right?

Don’t let your intention to get a double reward turn into a double sin, because you have violated the rights of others and disturbed people who are worshiping in Raudhah.

 

Facing Qibla While Praying in Raudhah

The location of Raudhah is close to the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad. However, you do not need to face the tomb of the Prophet while praying. You still have to face the Qibla, pray with a straight intention lillahi ta`ala. Not even expecting blessings from the Prophet’s grave.
